Board’s Statement of Servant Leadership
It
is an honor to serve as chair of Ephesians Life Ministries’ Board of
Directors. Indeed, God has given every
board member a tremendous opportunity to advance the mission of Ephesians. We
all look forward to using our God-given
gifts and talents to support the staff, every client, the counselors,
the twelve-steppers and all of our supporters. During my first board
meeting as president, I shared my vision for Ephesians’ Board. Following is a summation of that vision,
which we have committed to keep as your servant leaders:
1) We
will have a passion for the things that please the heart of God:
Act upon unified decisions that are rooted and bathed
in prayer
Compelled to serve
Tested decisions driven by compassion for the hurting
2) Through prayer, for continued success, we will have:
Wisdom and Discernment (result of A)
Each board member knowing his or her spiritual gifts (deployed to accomplish C)
Unified adopted attitude as Ambassadors (in Christ) for Ephesians’ mission (driven by T)
“The will of God will be done; but, oh, the unspeakable loss for us if we have missed our opportunity of doing it.” - Brook Foss Westcott
We pray it will never be said of us that we missed our opportunity!
Yours in His Service,
Audrey Easaw
“For
it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good
pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)
