Faith Statement

For this reason I bow my knee before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. -- Ephesians 3:14-19

We believe in the Holy Trinity. God the Father creates and sustains us. Jesus Christ, the Son, lived as man to redeem mankind with His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death and bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. The Holy Spirit resides in us and guides us personally to use His gifts to develop his fruit to spread God's love.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God and the guide for faith and moral conduct. We base our counseling on the truths in the Bible and God's healing power.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ and His church. We believe we are called to accept and love all people, meeting them where they are and encouraging them to learn and follow God's plan for their lives, so that they can enjoy God's unconditional love and be a witness to His glory.

The purpose of Ephesians Life Ministries is to facilitate people in their growth to becoming healthy and balanced in their relationship to God, self, and others. Since 1979, Ephesians has offered a multifaceted program intended to serve the whole person. A combination of prayer, education, counseling, and sharing provides the opportunity to expedite the growth process for all participants. We encourage people to let their roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love so they may be filled with God Himself.
